PROFESSOR’S KIDS CRASHING LIVE BBC INTERVIEW GOES VIRAL VIDEO

#PROFESSOR #KID VIDEO

If you’re having a bad day at work, just remember: at least you’re not the dad who was interrupted by his kids during a live BBC interview Friday morning. Robert E Kelly, a professor of political science, was being interviewed live on the BBC World channel about the South Korean impeachment. His children, however, had other ideas.

As Kelly is speaking, his children enter into the picture and a few awkward moments later, a woman frantically takes them out of the room. According to the BBC, the video has been viewed more than 10 million times on Facebook and was even shared by Tom Hanks. The video has been viewed over 590,000 times on YouTube and retweeted nearly 11,000 times on Twitter, to which Kelly replied, “Is this kinda thing that goes ‘viral’ and gets weird?”

Islam to become world’s most popular religion this century- Instituto Manquehue

islam

#Islam is the fastest-growing religion and is set to overcome Christianity as the world’s most popular faith by the year 2100, according to the Pew Research Center. In 2010, there were around 1.6 billion Muslims in the world, the report reveals, noting that the figure amounted to roughly 23 percent of the world’s population. Islam is currently the world’s fastest growing religion and the second-largest after Christianity.

Christians constituted roughly 31 percent of the global population in 2010, or about 2.2 billion. By 2050, however, the number of followers of the world’s two largest religions may become equal.

“If current demographic trends continue, the number of Muslims is expected to exceed the number of Christians by the end of this century,” Pew says.

One of the reasons for this rapid growth is that Muslims tend to have more children than members of other religious groups.

Muslim women across the globe have 3.1 children on average, compared to only 2.3 for all other groups.

The results also indicate that on average, followers of Islam are becoming younger – seven years younger than the median age of non-Muslims.

“As a result, a larger share of Muslims already are, or will soon be, at the point in their lives when they begin having children. This, combined with high fertility rates, will fuel Muslim population growth,” Pew says.

This means that Christian populations may soon be squeezed out of some traditionally Christian countries. The rate of conversion will be aided by the increased migration trends into North America and Europe.

Pew says that “10% of all Europeans will be Muslims by 2050,” while Muslims in the US will make up 2.1 percent of the population by mid-century, “surpassing people who identify as Jewish on the basis of religion as the second-largest faith group in the country.”

Tamil Nadu demands full stop to hydrocarbon project

Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palanisami on Monday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and sought Rs 39,565 crore funds for drought and clearance to the bill passed by the Assembly exempting the state from Neet.

Besides, he insisted that ONGC should not proceed with any mining activity in Neduvasal in Pudukottai district without clearance from the state government.
Palanisami requested for early release of funds since the state had already incurred Rs 2,944 crore out of its own funds, including the state disaster response fund of Rs 713 crore. He wanted the release of at least Rs 2,500 crore as an immediate ‘on account’ release from the national disaster response fund. He also pointed out that Tamil Nadu had sought Rs 22,573 crore for relief and restoration measures after the devastating cyclone Vardah and the Centre is yet to provide any assistance.

All Indians are waiting for the positive feed back from the Central Government.

“Hidden Portrait” Discovered Underneath The Mona Lisa

The #MonaLisa half-length portrait that is worth $ 780 millions after 500 years of its completion has hidden secrets that aren’t discovered so far.

Lately, one of my close friends said that he thinks Leonardo Da Vinci was in touch with alliance. He had reasons for his claim. (Well, I have no idea on this regard.)

I believe that artists turn to the arts when they have unsaid words, when they realize the things that can’t be delivered verbally. Thus, Leonardo has certainly hidden things behind Lisa’s portrait.

Well, I always respect arts with the perspective that they help humans realize the life-related subjects that are may be impossible to be talked.
