Foods That are Rich in Preventing Hairloss.

1.Salmon(Fish)

Hair is a protein fiber (as are nails), which means you need to eat protein to grow new strands and keep the existing ones strong. Protein is also required to produce keratin, a key structural component of hair.

A smart choice is marine-based protein, like salmon, which has been shown to boost hair health in women thanks to its omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin content.

2.Honey

When used as a topical treatment, honey can improve the look of thinning hair. In a study of patients experiencing seborrheic dermatitis, which includes scaling, itching, and hair loss, those who applied a solution of 90% honey and 10% water to their scalp every other day for 4 weeks reported an improvement in hair loss at the end of the study.

3.Nuts and seeds

Some of the most promising research on reversing female-pattern hair loss was released in January 2015 in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology. Subjects in the study received a nutritional supplement containing omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids and antioxidants for 6 months. The results were overwhelmingly positive: After 6 months, 90% of the subjects reported a reduction in hair loss, 86% reported an improvement in hair growth, and 87% reported thicker hair.

To achieve similar results, eat nuts and seeds high in omega-3s and omega-6s, like walnuts, flaxseed, and oils such as grapeseed, sunflower, and sesame.

4.Spinach

One study found that women with hair loss have significantly lower iron and vitamin D2 levels than age-matched controls. Spinach is a good bet because it’s rich in iron and high in vitamin C, which aids in iron absorption. Toss a spinach salad with hardboiled eggs or mushrooms, both of which are loaded with vitamin D, to give yourself the best shot at slowing hair loss.

5.Oils

Pumpkin, rosemary, and coconut oils all act as nectar to the scalp. In one study, researchers gave men with hair loss 400 mg per day of pumpkin seed oil or a placebo for 24 weeks. Those who took the pumpkin seed oil experienced a 40% increase in hair growth.

And there’s something to be said for oils even when you don’t eat them: When used as a pre-wash and post-wash grooming product, coconut oil has been shown to protect hair against protein loss, and rosemary oil has been shown to increase hair growth comparable to minoxidil, the main ingredient in Rogaine and with less scalp itching.

Top -5 High-Protein Foods Which Help You Lose Weight.

Here are some of the #High #Proteins food which helps you to Lose Weight.

Although the Paleo diet may be a bit controversial, Perlmutter says followers of the plan are definitely right about their devotion to grass-fed steak. Now that new research has disproven the age-old belief that there’s a link between dietary saturated fat and heart disease (there isn’t), Perlmutter says having a lean sirloin—which has a cool 22.5 grams of protein in just three ounces—from time to time is clutch. One caveat: “When picking out beef, make sure it is grass-fed and not grain-fed,” explains Perlmutter. “Grain-fed protein sources are going to increase inflammation because of the omega-6 fatty acids in them.” Inflammation can lead to more belly fat, so it’s basically the exact opposite of what you’re going for.

4.)COCONUT

Slide 7 of 25: Coconut

Along with 15 grams of protein—which, we might add, is pretty darn impressive for a fruit—coconut is also high in theronine, an amino acid your body uses to prevent fat buildup in the liver and speed up recovery after a butt-busting workout. Don’t have an actual coconut handy (unless you’re on a tropical vacay, in which case we’re really jeal)? You can still reap some of the health bennies from its derivatives, like coconut flour (four grams of protein in two tablespoons), milk (five grams per cup) and butter (two grams in two tablespoons).

3.) CHICKPEAS

Slide 11 of 25:
You can't really argue with the numbers here: One cup of garbanzo beans equals a third of your daily protein recommendation and an impressive 19 grams of fiber. Plus, studies have shown that those who added legumes into a low-calorie diet lost about 50 percent more weight than those who didn't because of all the slow-to-digest, plant-based fiber they contain. Our advice? Go for the hummus and baby carrots, but stick to a two tablespoon serving instead of going at it directly from the tub, as it's way too easy to go overboard on the stuff (trust us on that one, we know from experience).

2.) COW’S MILK

Slide 16 of 25:
Nut milks like coconut, almond, and cashew are a great way to naturally get some vitamin D (all have about 25 grams per cup), but if we're strictly talking calories and protein here, moo milk is a top-notch source. The stuff has just 86 calories while serving up eight grams of protein in a cup (as opposed to a measly one to two grams in the nutty options), says Eades. That said, every glass of milk is definitely not created equally. To make sure you're not being exposed to potentially harmful rBGH hormones or excessive amounts of estrogen—which research suggests is a potential link to prostate and breast cancers—Eades recommends opting for organic fat-free milk from grass-fed cows that have not been treated with hormones to play it safe.

1) ALMONDS

Slide 22 of 25:
We could go on for days about why unsalted almonds are the ideal weight-loss snack, but in a nutshell, it all comes down to the mono-saturated fats that make them highly satiating without any extra calories, says Eades. To make the deal even sweeter, studies suggest that regularly eating 20 to 23 almonds (which boast around seven grams of protein) per day can help you maintain a healthy weight and decrease the odds of gaining any back due to their vitamin E, magnesium, and phytochemicals that control the fluctuations of blood glucose during digestion. Liquid Nitrogen – A new Danger

#LiquidNitrogen

According to a report in Hindustan Times, two months ago, a 30-year-old who downed a fancy “smoking” shot did not realise that the drink was to be consumed only after the smoke dissipated. In fact, he consumed two.

Just after consuming the drink the man began to experience extreme pain in his stomach accompanied by breathlessness, and had to be immediately rushed to a hospital in Gurgaon.

Upon examining the man, the doctors decided that surgery was necessary and once they opened him up, they realised the extent of the damage caused. According to the report, his stomach “was open like a book”.

The man, who wished to remain anonymous, was quoted by HT saying, “I gulped down the drink, I started feeling very uncomfortable, like how you feel when there is an acid reflux. The bartender passed me another drink and I had it, not thinking too much about the discomfort. However, within seconds, my stomach started swelling and I was in unbearable pain. Breathing was also difficult.”

How did this happen?

The drink that he had consumed was covered with liquid nitrogen. Why? Liquid nitrogen has a boiling point of -196 degrees Celsius. Hence it is used for a variety of things, such as a coolant for computers, in medicine to remove unwanted skin, warts and pre-cancerous cells, and in cryogenics, where scientists study the effect of very cold temperatures on materials. But apart from all the medical and scientific uses, liquid nitrogen has also become a popular gastronomic tool.

Restaurants and bars use liquid nitrogen as a method for instantly freezing food and drinks, or creating and clouds of vapour or fog when exposed to air. Of course, caution should be maintained. When used to freeze drinks, these should only be consumed after the nitrogen has completely evaporated.

According to John Emsley of the Royal Society of Chemistry in England, “If you drank more than a few drops of liquid nitrogen, certainly a teaspoon, it would freeze, and become solid and brittle like glass. Imagine if that happened in the alimentary canal or the stomach. The liquid also quickly picks up heat, boils and becomes a gas, which could cause damage such as perforations or cause a stomach to burst.”

While the use of liquid nitrogen is permitted as an additive in frozen food as per the guidelines of the national regulatory body Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), there are no definitive guidelines set for it, especially in terms of safety.

“There is no clear-cut guideline for it and generally it is considered to be a novel technique, which can be used by food business operators,” said Dr Saurabh Arora of FoodSafetyHelpline.

The aftermath

The patient, when he was admitted, had an abnormally swollen stomach, and his heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation were well away from optimum conditions. Surgery revealed a huge perforation in the middle and the lower parts of the man’s stomach. Since it was not possible to stitch it back, as the tissue near the tear was too damaged, the doctors removed the damaged portion of the stomach and connected his stomach to the remaining part of the small intestine.

Post the surgery, the patient had to be kept on a ventilator for three days, but thankfully he has since recovered.

“Consuming liquid nitrogen can cause havoc in a person’s system. By nature, liquid nitrogen expands manifolds and evaporates when left at room temperature. The gas did not have an escape route after the person consumed it and the sphincter closed, this is what led to a perforation in his stomach,” said Dr Amit Deepta Goswami of Columbia Asia Hospital in Gurgaon, where the man was taken to.

How to make a sleep mask… EASY STEPS

#sleep #mask in easy steps

Materials you will need

 • Felt
 • Glue for fabric
 • Elastic (Better if it’s golden)
 • Gold sequins
 • Gold tread
 • Sleep mask pattern

IMGP0511

Step 1

Print out or draw the pattern and cut out. I know mine is not perfectly draw so if you want to make your one you should take into account that the eyelids must be bigger that the eyelashes so when you stick the eyelids you can create a 3-D effect.

3

Step 2

Trace around the pattern with a permanent marker. You will need two pieces of the mask and two eye lids. You will also need to draw the eyelashes on the black felt. If you don’t have black felt just paint the blue one with the permanent marker. Cut them out.

IMGP0512

IMGP0513

Step 3

Glue the eyelashes to the underside of the eyelids. Set these aside to dry. Meanwhile glue one end from each piece of the elastic to either side of the mask.

IMGP0514

While you let these two dry, take the other piece of the mask and cut four pieces with the size of the eyebrows from the gold thread. Glue two of them on each eyebrow.

IMGP0515

Step 4

When everything is dry is time to glue the eye lids. In order to create a 3-D effect first you should glue the top on the eyelid. Once it’s dry glue the sides trying to make them “bubble up”, two pegs can be very handy in these step.

IMGP0516

Step 5

Glue the two main pieces of the mask together, put an extra of glue on the elastic part.

IMGP0517

Step 6

Glue the gold sequins all the way around the edge on the front of the mask.

IMGP0520

Step 7

Since I didn’t own a gold elastic and the white one didn’t look very well, I decided to paint it golden with the astor colour pop and a brush.

IMGP0523

So this is the final result. I hope you liked this DIY and if you try it at home I’d love to see the results, so you can share them with me trough twitter or instagram.

Men’s Hair Styling Tips You Should Know

Most of a man’s hair-styling needs can be met with a few simple tips. Here are the essential things you should know about styling your own hair.

Cool Off
Nothing feels better than a piping hot shower, but it’s wreaking havoc on your hair and scalp. Very hot water strips too much of the essential oil from the hair and scalp and leads to dryness.

Avoid Chemical Treatments
Repeatedly coloring or perming hair can leave it damaged, dry, and dull.

I recommend avoiding at-home chemical products and seek a good stylist for such services. A stylist will know how to properly prepare you hair and choose the best products for your hair type. Results from a trained professional will almost always look more natural than those which can be produced at home.

Use a Good Shampoo and Conditioner
A good shampoo and conditioner will help cleanse the hair, add moisture and elasticity, and smooth the cuticle to add shine.

Use the Right Tools
Don’t use a brush on wet hair, when the hair is most vulnerable. When combing through wet hair, use a wide-toothed comb and gently work out any tangles. Avoid heated tools such as blow dryers or irons which can dry and damage hair.

Stay Healthy
The condition of your hair is often a reflection of the overall health of your body. Eat well, exercise, drink plenty of water, get enough sleep, and reduce stress in your life. Doing so will result in a healthier scalp and great looking hair. Living well and staying healthy will also increase the rate of hair growth.

Avoid Tight Hats
A tight hat (or ponytail) can cause “traction alopecia,” a condition in which hair is pulled out of the scalp. If worn long enough, the damage can become permanent. A tight hat or ponytail can also cause damage to the cuticle and breakage.

Keep it Trimmed
Since the only real way to remove damaged hair is to cut off the damaged section, keeping your hair trimmed regularly will help eliminate split ends. Even if you’re growing your hair out, make sure to get it trimmed about every six weeks, but make it clear to your barber or stylist that you only want enough hair removed to eliminate the damage.

Reduce Frizz
Low moisture and protein in the hair can cause frizz. To minimize this problem, use a good moisturizing conditioner. A slick, smoothing serum can be applied to add shine and give the hair a smoother appearance.

Maintain a Healthy Scalp
Hair starts from the scalp, so for hair that’s sleek, strong, and shiny, make sure you take good care of your scalp by following our Scalp Care Tips.

Since hair is such a big part of your appearance, keeping it well maintained will make you more attractive. Following the simple guidelines above will put you on your way to a healthy looking head of hair.
